Our Volunteer Groups

Volunteering at The Ladle and the Hearth is a hands-on opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our neighbors in Ambridge. The Ladle and the Hearth is blessed by a support network of committed volunteer organizations. These churches, synagogues, and organizations coordinate volunteer teams that plan the meal, purchase the food, prepare the meal, serve the meal, and clean the dining facilities after the meal has been served. Our volunteers are the embodiment of the Golden Rule. They work tirelessly to feed the hungry every Monday afternoon. As such, they are the lifeblood of The Ladle and the Hearth. We are profoundly thankful for sharing their resources of time, money, food, and energy.
